Malvern Panalytical Empyrean Alpha 1

The Malvern Panalytical Empyrean Alpha 1 diffractometer was installed in the department in 2011. Its high resolution configuration is similar to that of Xpert, with improved collection times and expanded options. Users may vary the optics of the Empyrean to best suit their measurement, making it is the instrument of choice for high resolution measurements.
